The Council on African American Affairs (CAAA) was a national organization established in 1964 by a group of African American educators, activists, and community leaders. The CAAA was dedicated to promoting black educational advancement and addressing issues related to civil rights, equality, and social justice for African Americans.

The organization focused on advocating for improved educational opportunities and outcomes for African American students at all levels, from K-12 to higher education.
