Topic: International Convention
There is no specific "International Convention" that focuses solely on Black history, but there are numerous international conferences, symposiums, and events that highlight and celebrate the rich tapestry of Black history and culture from around the world.
For example, the International Colloquium on Black Migrations is an academic conference that brings together scholars to discuss the historical and contemporary experiences of Black migration globally. The African Diaspora Archaeology Network also organizes international conferences that explore the archaeological and historical heritage of African descendants worldwide.
Additionally, organizations such as the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) host an annual convention that highlights the achievements and contributions of African Americans to global history. These events provide a platform for scholars, activists, artists, and community members to engage with the diverse narratives and experiences of people of African descent across borders and throughout history.
